gingersteve I love this album. Lokke shows effortless musicality across the board, but with a low-slung, slightly wonky swing that adds an innate funk to all his tracks, from the super chilled to the disco infused. Great stuff Favorite track: The Honey Badger.

Dr. Beaf The warmest chilled vibes arising naturally or spontaneously (but more likely deliberate). Influences from Kruder and Dorfmiester to Smoke City, with foundations from Thievery Corp. It's old sckool cool. Favorite track: Rain in Timboektoe.

Lokke is a Zurich based musician, born and raised in southern Germany. Known under many pseudonyms, his often one-take type of recordings are raw and with a touch of jazz. Lokke does a lot on his own when it comes to producing, both recording- and playing loads of instruments live. Lokke also works together with a lot of friends, most coming from the Beatbude family. Besides producing, he plays doublebass, rhodes and synths in several bands. After many beat tapes, live shows, dj sets and studio recordings, it is finally time for Lokke's first official solo release... "Time is an Invention".
